Dont want him at all!!! He Strikes Out a TON. He NEVER plays a full season (he is Always hurt) to give up Nestor for him is insane especially not knowing how Gil is going to be finishing the season with the most innings he's pitched coming off surgery. Not knowing if Cole is totally 100% simce he's only pitched a couple games so far... total PASS on this trade. As far as the 2nd trade anything with Dominguez name mentioned is an immediate NO.... No need to even discuss it

Jason, pass on Chisholm. He isn't an everyday 2ndb baseman. Trading one of our starters, a potential high yield SS and not address the bullpen arm that is actually need.

The first (main) trade - That seems like an awfully steep price for a relatively incremental improvement. If NY is going to deal with the Marlins I'd MUCH rather it was for Tanner Scott, or if we're giving up Cortes, maybe get Luzardo included, even if NY has to offer a better prospect haul. As for the second trade... HELL NO!!

Torres may just be getting hot. I don't know if Jazz is much of an upgrade. We can see how Gleyber does over the next few weeks. If he's truly found his game this year, give him 2 weeks to prove it. Nothing big is likely to happen till then anyway. If not, then let's replace him...if the right deal is there. What really concerns me more is the hot corner. We don't have anyone on the near horizon to save us there. Cabrera started hot but has since reverted back to his likely role as a bench player. He has value as a backup utility. We haven't had a productive 3rd-baseman since A-Rod? We can't rely on Jon Berti to save us. He's too injury-prone. I really would prefer we save our assets for Renigfo who can play 2nd, and 3rd, and he's a switch hitter. He's only making 4.4 mil. 1-year deal. He would be a rental. He's really come into his own this year. He's a pest with a low K rate. He slaps the ball all over the place, can fly, and is leading MLB in BA. He can bat anywhere, including leadoff should Volpe continue to struggle. I know teams are all giddy for power these days. I think in the postseason, where pitchers make far fewer mistakes, contact and speed are really nice to have in the toolbox. Besides, we have plenty of power already. That other 3-way trade sounds too crazy to ponder. In all honesty, we are missing the inside knowledge that happens deep in the organization's conference rooms/calls to predict any likely transactions. Oh to be a fly on the wall.

I like Jazz, but he doesn't fix the problems with this lineup. This is a low average, high k-rate, middling on-base skills batter. He's not remotely an ideal leadoff guy. He's an upgrade defensively, and he's got a ton of speed, but we need to be thinking about high contact players. That's the direction we started to go with Soto and Verdugo and it's the right way to go. While I'd welcome him to the team, what we would be giving up is too steep to pay for how he can help the team, meaning not in the ways we really need.

If I'm making a trade for Jazz Chisolm, then yeah I would also want to have Tanner Scott in the trade as well. Jazz Chisolm provides speed, defense and hustle at 2nd base over Torres. Plus I feel like him and Volpe at the top of the lineup can make the Yankees dangerous. The second trade proposal I don't like at all. I want Crochet to the Yankees, instead of him going to the Brewers.

You wouldn't have both at the top, because no sane team is gonna change the order at all if it means moving Soto from the 2 and Judge from the 3. Two best hitters need to be guaranteed an AB in the first. If this trade happens, one of them is leadoff and the other would fit best in the 9 hole for speed at the bottom.

Ridiculously too high a price. I wouldn't trade Arias straight up for Chisolm. I wouldn't trade Cortes straight up for him. For all 3, I would want Chisolm, and Scott. But I wouldn't do it unless a trade had already happened for a starter. If we made a trade for Crochet, then I'm more open to trading Cortes. We can't make the mistake we made a couple years ago where we ended up trading Monty because the plan was to also make a trade with the Marlins for, if I recall correctly, Luzardo, that ended up falling through. The downgrade to the rotation didn't end up hurting in the playoffs, we just didn't hit. But down the stretch, we did get hurt.

this is complicated Nestors contract is up after this year..and if the Yankees sign Soto they are not going to want to pay Nestor what he is worth,..plus we are going to move Torres..we need a young relatively cheap player for the same reason make room for Soto raise..so I like the long term ramifications...but giving up starting pitching this year gets dicey...we are getting back Poteet and Schmidt ..and will Nestor be in the Top 4 starters in the playoffs?..most likely be Cole Gil Stroman and Rondon...but its a long was off..will Gil regain his stuff..will Rondon bounce back...this is where it gets dicey for this year...and If the top 4 in the playoffs do not include Nestor does he go to the bullpen for the playoffs??..Yankees might not look at that positively because he is a fly ball pitcher...can this deal get any more complicated?.. I would run the risk..we need to get younger...I am tired of 35 year olds getting hurt and not delivering..Donaldson Rizzo DJL....but I like Rengifo better hitter more stolen bases...

None of us really knows what’s available in the market and that makes all of this outrageous lol I don’t understand the fascination with Chisholm - he’s good but nowhere near great The 3 way trade is ridiculous and would be grounds for committal - it’s a massive overpay The Angels, the Tigers, and the Athletics all have good bullpen pieces that I doubt would command anything close to the costs mentioned here. LAA have Rengifo and Tyler Anderson too (and I think the Yanks should seriously consider adding a starter), if Tampa sells Lowe is a good 2B prospect, though I think a 3B or 1B with some versatility if possible is more likely as I doubt Gleyber is leaving mid season. StL, SF, Tex, ARZ, SD and the Mets don’t look like sellers right now - if that changes, the availability of helpful pieces changes radically too.

Just another Yankee fan "The Grass is greener" trade proposal. Not a big fan at all of it. Yeah, Lets move a mid-rotation starter and 2 prospects for a marginally better infielder. Frankly.. I think Cortez may actually have a higher value as more value is place on starting pitching today, but that's subject of debate.

This is a lobsided, poor trade for the Yankees. I have heard that Chisholm has poor defense at second and his hitting is not sufficient to trade away a top pitching prospect and Areas, a Yankees top future infield international prospect. The Yankees would be better off using Vivas, Durbin, Downs, Serna, Peraza, Cabrera, or even Glebyer at second. The three team trade is even worse. The Yankees would never trade Jasson Dominguez for an often injured, over rated outfielder. The Yankees were not willing to trade Dominguez or Jones for Burnes or Cease so this bad trade is not happening.
