Wow, I remember I saw this in the theater when it came out, and it has stayed with me ever since. A quirky, poignant, fun, feel-good movie, with a soundtrack I ADORED. My mother - who was born in 23, and who is still alive! - raised me on this kind of music. Anyway, the film always bubbled around in the back of my head all these years, even if I couldn't remember the name or a whole lot about it. But I searched it up tonight, and voila, here it is on YT (God Bless YT) and once again, I am falling in love with this film. I am watching it on my laptop with my 18 1/2 year old Chiweenie snuggled next to me. Absolute bliss. Thank you for posting this gem up here.

Kiefer Southerland is the most under rated actor out there & has been for many years. I'd like to know who sets the standards for who's good or not, he's "GREAT"
@eileencarman97526 жыл бұрын
Probably has to do with the casting couch tests they undergo.

Actually it's the Socialist and Communist Parties of Hollywood aka the AMPAS and the Screen Actors Guild. Things use to better when the studios were in charge and not the so-called artists.

Seriously under rated by the audience at: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/crazy_moon When I got to 50:43 I knew exactly what the protagonist was doing with that paper bag because when I was an adolescent I too did that. Now, back to the movie.

It is very difficult to stomp away,angrily while wearing flippers! Yet,Kiefer executed it beautifully! He is very handsome....he looks to be about 18-19 years old here.I never found His dad,Donald,to be handsome ....Kiefer has his mouth but most of his looks come from his Mother,I believe. He began acting, at a very young age and his parts have been quite varied.I do not understand why the industry has never really recognized his work....yet,fawns all over Tom Cruise's little ass! I think,that the Media makes the actor,into a star! It is all about who you know,I guess and who you suck up to... Maybe...jump on someone's couch
@geraldinalagos9 жыл бұрын
lynda renaud I totally agree with you, Mr. Sutherlands eyes are kind of too big, but yet he was a good looking man in his youth. But his son looks much more handsome. Even now when his more mature.
@MrLyndarenaud9 жыл бұрын
***** .......Yes,you are right about that....Donald Sutherland was not a bad looking man,in his youth.Kiefer has aged better,also.I think that all that is available, today to stay very fit...has helped Kiefer.

Tom being associated with the church of Scientology has always gotten him attention, when he really is just another actor. The parts he plays are a lot of the same stuff. He's really not "all that". Kiefer on the other hand has played many different roles and is by far a more talented actor ! I can't stand Tom Cruise, he's very arrogant and self absorbed.

Kieffer Sutherland is one of those actors that can do anything. Look at his roles in Stand By Me, and Lost Boys compared to the quirky guy he plays in this movie, and he pulls it off too. Sad that this movie gets over looked. But then again The Lost Boys was such a huge success, I can see maybe why that happened. I saw this movie on cable about a year after it came out. Loved it then, love it now.
