It's easy just tie FC to the treb-hook, then then to the eye of the hook. If you wanna takit one step longer you can use a dropshot hook and skinhook it in the top of the paddle and tie the fc to the eye with enough slack for it to not effect the action. That will get you thous tailgrabbers so you get a fish insted of a stright tail lure. xD

Hey Hank. Good tip I do like the stinger hook on those
@BassGeek4 күн бұрын
Yeah I do somthing with them that's really net but that's another video.
@thomassimonds92313 күн бұрын
I will have to try that out
@BassGeek3 күн бұрын
It will land you a few more. You can also turn it into a underspin. That trick is coming soon.
@MarcusSpjut3 күн бұрын
Lost my biggest perch yesterday at the boat fumbling for the net. Never learn. xD I think musky/pike rigings like the screw in head and stingers and bigger soft-plastic is something that would go well with winter bass fishing. You get many options that a expesive "ready out of the box" swimbaits cant offer and to a fraction of the price and they work the same as the smaller ones. :)
@BassGeek3 күн бұрын
They do and I like that we now have the option to have a stinger for the smaller baits.

#100percentwatchsquad When Hank is bundled up like he's at the North Pole, you know it's frosty out! Been dipping down into the upper 20s even here! And boy, have those bass been nibbling!

Yes they are and don't sleep on this hook. It can be made into a underspin with a trebble hook very easily.

Soft plastic fluke still baits have caught me more fish this year than any other lure or bait. Split tail paddle tail, they’ve all helped me land a lot more fish. The nibblers are a nuisance lol.
@BassGeek3 күн бұрын
Oh yeah they are my go to for sure in the spring through early winter.

@ I live a 15 minute walk from a retention lake. Not big by any means, but big enough to hold all kinds of freshwater fish. I’ve made a habit of trying lures and baits I’ve never caught anything on and I can almost guarantee I’ll get but as soon as I tie on any kind of fluke in a dark green color and just retrieve it slow. I’m starting to wonder why I take a backpack at all anymore lol. It’s fun to try all kinds of stuff though to learn how they work in the water and practice for the days I go to much bigger bodies of water. It’s where I got decent with a baitcaster a few years back after never using one for most of my life. As an older fellow that loves bank fishing I do appreciate your videos. I know most of your videos are based on the water but people might be surprised how much the info you give can work on the banks as well. Much love to you and yours, Merry Christmas, be safe out there!

You southerners suited up like thats when its 60 degrees?😂
@BassGeek4 күн бұрын
You northerners crying when it's 85 and 100% humidity. LOL It was 28 so you know. This lake freezes in the winter at times.

I was on south holston the other morning and it was 15 degrees, we wear shorts when it's 60 out lol. You're thinking of the Floridians, they are in a hoodie and pants when it's 70 outside😅

What cold whether my friend? You're in the southern state try. Indiana, we've already had ice and got a little bit warm and melted. And it's getting down to 30 some degrees tonight? And water temperature 3 weeks ago was like 50.
@BassGeek20 сағат бұрын
hahaha You northern guys. Yes you get colder up there but what you don't think of is I live in the mountains. Which is much higher elevation than you. My Lakes freeze. The high was 31 in this video with a 25mph wind. Oh and come down here when it's 100 with 100 percent humidity. You can put clothes on but you can't take enough off.
