Honestly, in the race at Silverstone you needed to be more aggressive. If you'd pushed past Impega you'd have run away and hidden from both of them.

I miss the three race format. I don't mind the slightly longer video. Two feels a little cut short. Even if they are longer races like the 7 to 11 lap races (which I really do like), watching 3 10 lap races is comfortable and doesn't feel excessively long because three fits into a familiar cadence for one session (for example practice, qualifying, race). I know it's more work for you guys but y'all make great shows.

It’s a real thing, English has content words and function words. The function words are typically unstressed, pronounced weakly, while the content words are stressed - pronounced strongly. This is called cliticisation. No sniggering at the back please. Think of the following sentence: If music be the food of love, play on. To get a proper English pronunciation to that sentence, we are taught to say it to the rhythm of the Pink Panther theme tune, because that forces you to weaken the function words to hit the content word properly. “If music” (mu is stressed, sic is unstressed) then we have to fit the word “be the” (be will be strong) in before the strong “food” and weak “of” then strong “love” and an unstressed silence for the comma. You finish with “Play on” with on being unstressed. The end result is that native English speakers sound like they are running words together and it’s why so many native accents are “sing song” like Welsh, Brummie, Scouse and Cocknie.

The emira has a 6 speed right? I think with shorter gearing it would've destroyed the competition.

yeah unfortunately a lot of cars as stuck with only 6 speeds for race transmissions since unlike fh5, motorsport doesn’t give you the option to pick between a 6-10 speed race transmission. It’s a bit annoying, my mr2 really needed another gear for example but what can you do haha

@@abuttandahalf True, however it also has to be taken into account that these cars are usually built in a short period of time(regulations are announced around a day or so before vstc is filmed), so fine tuning is not apparent on most cars in vs the community

Get it on game pass (if you have it). And career mode is not worth it. It's boring, repetitive, too short and feels like a slog at the same time. It's a shame since the driving and racing with others (who are competent) is very fun

Great races, second race, i still had discord as "main" so ended up writing 2 lines before i understood why my NSX did not wanted to go at the start of the race :(
