In the 80s, Lifebuoy from England was a popular soap brand in Thailand with heavy advertising. However, a new brand quietly entered the market: Safeguard from the USA. It was considered more luxurious, expensive, and modern. People who could afford it knew about it, and many compared it to Lifebuoy. No matter how the ads described how good Lifebuoy was, it couldn't compare to Safeguard and Safeguard don't even have to do the ads. This comparison was linked to another Thai idiom, which means "you get what you pay for." This idiom raises the question of whether it is true? In Thai slang from the 80s, "Whatever you say it equal to lifeboy" or "life boy" for short was used to mean something similar to the English idiom "Speech is silver(Lifebouy), silence is gold(Safeguard)." Over time, it evolved into a phrase meaning "I don't want to hear you talking shit / dont talk shit to me / your word is worthless, but it a good way it sound softer and not so mean. Like many other slangs from that time, it faded away people from 90s dont say that world anymore it consider old and unfashionable I'm 90s and I would laugh when I heard my uncle saying that word. People who are 50-70 yrs old are very familiar with this word, although younger people might be curious about its true meaning. In the context of the 4eve MV, it can mean either like what you think" or "what I just described cause for sure people behind the lyrics are those 80s+
