For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

The band are the ones that wrote and performed this song in the 80’s This was a tribute to the lead singer whom had died Dimash completely changed it to suit himself. Igor Krutoy, the man in white shirt giving his standing ovation, invited Dimash to participate in this festival in the same year. "Sinful Passion" was created in 1998. This is how the song was performed, exactly in the 20th anniversary of this song. It speaks of greater love, greater loss, greater despair, greater desire, greater passion. The loss or lack of this love, in Dimash's interpretation, has the dimension of a loss of life, which one is very anxious to restore. In place of the original purely pop instrumental part (inserts), Dimash included (after the last chorus) his vocalize, a stylized onomatopoeic (like a lament) eastern ornament and the words "дай мне, дай" (give me, give me) with a 23-second melismatic on the last syllable, which is not a simple substitute for a pop musical theme, but an extension of the story sung earlier in words.❤️🎤🌹🌹🔝🔝👏👏👏👏

Stranger in China on a reality show...one of the other singers said he was afraid to compete against him.and if you said "what was THAT?", WAIT until you see his new Stranger. Also, he released a video that aired this last Sunday on the Tokyo Jazz Festival. He sang Autumn Strong in the original songs language, Japanese, called Ikanaide. You are gonna be blown AWAY, especially with the new Stranger version.The other one will make you choke up. Did you see the guy in the audience who stood up and was clapping? I’ve observed the volume of that high note the many times reactors have reacted. This is not the only time the sound engineer has done this. All of dimashs sound engineers have collabed with maestro vocalist Dimash. Many people and coaches have analyzed this song saying it is studio recorded quality. In the ong “Know” with its many versions you’ll see this same thing happen. It’s the only pace in the song where prerecorded dimashs voice is in the background at the same time AStudios instruments are in there. And Dimash has the sound engineer mix purposely his voice with the instrument’s volume. So that’s the highest note with the mix so your ear has to search for it. Done on purpose because what come next is the volume comes up for your ear o hear all of those crazy riffs runs and that scale that’s not a major scale but some scale from dimashs traditional music from Khzakhastan. Dimash as is custom was raised by his grandparents. This country is big on passing down from the ancestors customs music instruments and wisdom. So he was on stage atb2 yrs and on stage performimgnatb5 going to the music academy at the university ad winning his first Kano concert at 5 all that culture from the different sources make Dimash this library of techniques that we still haven’t heard it all. The throat singing was what is done in dimashs country at funerals in lamentations. The piano player asked Dimash to sing it in dedication to their lead singer who passed away. So this was a memorial for him. By the way that string of notes was suing for 24 seconds without a breath.m

Oooh well when you’re ready to hear more of Dimash’s exquisite sounding breath👉 I see people are requesting *Ikanaide* - just released 2 days ago. This is his 1st song in Japanese. He previously won best song in China for the Chinese version of this beloved song, which is titled Autumn Strong. Ikanaide at Tokyo Jazz Festival 2021 you could teach a masterclass in the use of breath, don’t think I can think of another singer to compare. I highly recommend/beg you to also watch *Autumn Strong* at his Arnau Concert (bright red suit)…. 2 versions of the same song, in 2 different languages, with unique approaches & unique magic in each of them. *These 2 I feel he uses the breath as a second voice* more than any of his other songs.
