CRAZY RESULTS~Open Cup Pour~Cells Without Silicone~Fluid Art~Acrylic Pouring~246

On Sunday @MinaVillegasArt did a Wanderlust Pour using some absolutely fantastic colors so I told her I wanted to use them in my pour today. Today's Open Cup Pour really gave me a Crazy result. You can get teeny tiny and large cells without using silicone. I'll link Mina's video below.

I love this it's fun because once you see something you can't unsee it 😂 the bottom left corner looks like a pair of hands - the pink in the centre of the left side like a neck and then a weird but wonderful head resting there - it's a beautiful piece with the cells almost looking like teeth in a wide smile - I love your work thankyou for sharing

Beautiful,reminds me of a galaxy pour with some Milky Way covering the galaxies. I like that magenta, I'd like to see some more of it in that painting. It gives some nice mysterious and deep feel to the painting,if you don't mind me commenting this way. Beautiful 😍

These were more on the thin side. 1oz of gloss medium, 2.5 oz of paint, 3.5 oz of Floetrol and water. They make a mound and sink very quickly but not as thin as a Dutch Pour.

What are your proportions of Artist Loft Soft Body and WSE in your white base? And do you mix it with exactly the same pouring medium as you do with your colors?

2oz gloss medium, 4oz paint, 8oz of American Floetrol, water needed for consistency. I take a spray bottle and do about 3 squirts. When the paint runs off the stick I want a mound and then immediately sink back in the cup of paint.

What is the White base you are using? Artist loft or behr satin house paint? Did you add pouring medium same as in the acrylic colors? If so what brand is the pouring medium. I am trying to learn but everyone uses different methods. And many skip over vital info for beginners.

hi there. Merry Christmas. This is Artist Loft Soft Body White. I mixed this batch on the thinner side. This is 2oz of Liquitex Gloss Medium, 4oz of paint and then add water for consistency. This is not as thin as a dutch pour but it's close.

Waw, this is very different from other open cup pours that you did. This looks more like open cup pours that I do (I use Owatrol for Floetrol) with the gradient colors. Any idea why you didnt get a lot of cells (apart from the pearl cells) like you normally do? Even the gold didnt cell up that much, it is a bit suprising ...?

My paints were a lot thinner than normal. The white was a touch thicker than the paints and I'm pretty sure that's why.

Sorry you don't like the music. Each video is different and I add music that speaks to me when i'm creating the piece. That's how I like the videos. I'll be more mindful about the style of music in my videos but I will continue to add music. I'd hate to lose you as a viewer but it's your prerogative to stay or leave.
