Crazy Shark Action Sardine Run 2020

Hi Rudolph. I know this is a bit of topic but i am quite desperate to get more info on the Penn Regiment 15' 5oz rod. It will really be appreciated if you could provide me with more details on this rod. Blank specifics and general ability of this rod. I like the feel of the rod but cannot get blank specifics on the internet or from the dealer. Is it 24t carbon or what. Thank you and much appreciated if yoy could advise please.

Hi Charl. The 15ft Regiment 2 to 5 oz rod is made up of 30t HMG graphite. The rod is loaded with Sea guide anti tangle guides. It is a rod designed for edible fish and the lenght is great for getting the extra distance on your cast. Just remember this is not a rod for casting big baits. Stick to the max load of 5oz (sinker and bait combined) l personally love mine and often use it for light tackle application.

That's what I call fishing mate. Fantastic job on the video as well. Your videos are really improving with the drone action b roll and I especially liked your music selection. It was also interesting to see the absolute madness of the sardine run and the cooperation between anglers. It's also been my experience with land based fishing that race and status disappear and the least among us can be the champion for a day with a nice catch. The best sport in the world. Hi. You can get most of the Penn and Berkley tackle from your local tackle store. They can also order it for you if they don't have stock. In this video l fished with the Berkley Venom Medusa and paired it with the Penn Slammer 8500. The topshot braid was 80Lb Whip 8.
