Wow! It almost half price of what I paid for mine imported. The way I use it now is instead of swapping lenses on my C70 or BM6KFF I keep a Tamron 70-180 f2.8 GII on this permanently for when I need some telephoto. Another thing I love to do with the ZV-E1 is to use its great stabilisation with vintage zooms. You can adjust the required focal length for stabilisation on the fly. Great find!

I saw that deal on Currys and thought it was a mistake. It was out of stock so just assumed it wasn't real. I did check back over and over mind. Great deal.

@@Marc-io6pv yeah it was but you have to make enquiries in store. When I used to work for Panasonic, one of my daily visit stores was Currys and I see the way stock can get missed until someone checks. When they look on system it brings more information than what's on web. It could mean that it's a return product but it doesn't automatically go back in stock. When I went to pick it up the guy told me that someone bought it and because it wasn't a lens combo deal they got a refund and it sat in the stock room unopened.

@@adriancluskey3640 thank you, tbh bro since I've got it I've never drained it. Smallrig offered a vb99 but I knew the VB50 is going to run way longer than I need in this minimal setup. I will test it with the Fuji as we got a heavy shoot planned with that.

THe ZV-E1 is a great camera, I got it on a good deal last year (though not as good as you got) The small rig cage with the hand grip is fantastic for it as well. Good call on the sigma 28-70 great for video the samyang V-AF series of lenses are cool for this camera as well as brilliant on a gimbal. Really enjoying your Videos.

@@GMTNeil thank you for the recommendations. I might actually end up building something a bit more "pro" so I'll definitely keep that in mind. Yeah I switched from the arts to the contemporary about 9 months ago and they've been amazing for event work. No real character but the clients just want clean footage so it's cool . I'll look at the V-AF too, maybe pick up a set for my daughter. She's learning this game now and I'd like to start her off with a good but affordable set. Thanks for the comment man 🙌🏾

wow, i just got my zv-e1 a few days ago for $1700 from B&H photo and i thought that was a crazy deal i also ordered the viltrox 28mm f/4.5 a week ago, but ebay seller is taking quite a long time to ship (i think a lot of them are on backorder right now since they're flying off the shelves) i am super curious if i can sneak my zv-e1 into a music venue that doesn't allow "professional cameras", i think the zv-e1 with the viltrox pancake lens looks a lot like a point and shoot camera to security guards

@@allhall0ws Yeah its a crazy deal but 1700 still great. Viltrox are taking a very long time to get those orders out...and you're right, I think it was a big seller for them. I definitely think you can get in anywhere with the zve1, mine looks bigger because of bottom plate but I think without it you're good.
