For children...yes. For us adults that have been collecting for 20 years plus, this is a kids product. Bunch of shiny inserts and 50 different parallels for each card, one auto per box at best. This a garbage product...I wish you kids had been around during the early 2000's, you missed the best years for collecting...

Hope Platinum can continue to gain popularity. Hard to rip the boxes when it's almost twice the cost of a regular hobby box and you're more likely to get bent over from it with the prices being much lower for the actual cards other than a few big autos

Congrats on the redemption pull. I was lucky back in 2020 to pull a Seismic Gold Redemption of Nick and redeemed it immediately. It does look amazing and I still can't wait to see 2021-22 OPC Platinum in it's new format. Maybe in January 2023???

Hey zeeree, I opened a box of this stuff on 3/9/2022. I pulled a dobson red prizm auto redemption and the expiration date was 6 days expired, dated 3/3/2022. I contacted upper deck and they said they keep all expired redemptions in stock for 1 year after the date. Got my card within a month. Hope this helps!

Congratulations on getting the redemption filled!! If the other major companies (and sports). Would follow this type of customer service,. There would be alot more happy collectors in the hobby. Topps and panini treat the consumer like gum on the bottom of their shoe. Congrats with UD!

He likely got these Platinum boxes from either Blowout Cards or Steel City Collectibles. I got mine from the latter and the $160 US price is still on. If you're in the USA though you might be honestly better off shipping from Canada in some cases.

Stature doesn't have the same stature as OPC Platinum, ha! I wouldn't gamble that its going to pick up steam, there are no signs of it either. Stick with OPC Platinum it was the break out product of the year last year. Its a way better looking product as well.

@@thehighlanders607 Thats the thing though, Platinum had a breakout year recently. Stature is a very new product, only 2 years so far. I think peoples general perception of the product is that the cards are very nice. Maybe in a few years it could become more of a staple. That is my thinking atleast, but as you say there arent any great signs of it, yet. It also has Platinum to kind of compete with.
