I spent 15 years working in a prison, I've seen so many of these. Funniest one was when i was a detention Sgt we brought an inmate through our sally port...he couldnt clear the metal detector. We knew why...he had a phone in his prison wallet. The officer had managed to get the number through some solid investigation work. As we were talking to him the officer went into the sally port office and called the number. Unfortunately for the inmate....he had left the phone on and it was on vibrate. It was very hard not to stand there and laugh as he started twitching every time it rang. He stood there pretending nothing was wrong, so the office kept calling the phone until he realized we were calling the phone and he finally broke down and admitted asking us to please stop calling it.

And this was a generous calculation assuming density of heroin being same as water (when in reality tar heroin is like a rock judging by the pictures, it's probably a lot more dense (and therefore smaller in volume)). I taped a bunch of chewing tobacco to my taint.. With duct tape. Worked the first time, then the second time I was on a gross misdemeanor which meant they did a strip search this time.. and well when I turned around and had this brown log shaped thing protruding from my taint, the guard thought I shit myself at first. Later on, with work release I had this big stupid watch I would wear cause they didnt let you have your phone and I would need to know the time.. eventually I had to change the batteries and took off the back, the entire thing was hollow.. Started smuggling in sleeping pills, to sleep until work the next day.. There were some other guys before I got there.. There was a washer/dryer in the jail for work release guys, in the commissary room.. anyway apparently someone had someone on the outside, stuff a bag of meth in the hot air release tube thing from the dryer.. Half the jail was tweaking for a week and didnt sleep, they didnt notice until night 3 when they stopped pretending to sleep and just sat up reading and drawing all night lol.. Ah jail, I dont miss you.
