Liberos are amazingly cool. When I played volleyball I was usually just a setter or outside hitter - but that libero position I always envied - I just never had the balls to tumble and roll and possibly suffer a concussion, they don't just have amazing speed, but amazing persistence and agility.

Same here. I've been trying to become a libero for three years and ended up becoming a setter instead (sigh). Liberos simply _amaze_ me with the effort they put in to keep the play going.

Jiminimized when I played volleyball, I really wanted to play the libero position. They get cool uniforms, when you save the ball it feels amazing, you don't have to serve, and it's just cool. But to my horror, the school didn't use the libero position.

I honestly laughed for most of them. But it was worth it. I bet the referees were very confused on if they should call it against them or not. I guess the rule is “until the ball touches the floor”. It was really funny but those where mouth-opening saves there.

The ball is in play until it hits the floor. If it hits on the court then the point goes to the team on the other side from where it landed, so if one team makes a successful spike and the ball lands on the opposing teams half of the court, then the point goes to the team that made the spike. If the ball goes out, then the point goes to the team that didn't touch the ball last. that's why they crossed the court, because they're team touched it last so if it landed out then they would have lost that point
