There was no unexpected ending . A mature Black Scorpion has thick armor, with few weak places for the centipede to find to bite. Once it gets the centipede under control with those strong claws, it's game over, 99% of the time.

@@TenryuKensuke not all Scorpions are equal, the Bigger their Pincers the Weaker their Venom, they also have thicker Exoskeletons compared to their more Venomous counterparts. The Smaller the Pincers the more Venomous they are, they're not looking to Brawl, so their Exoskeletons aren't as thick as their Bigger Pincered counterparts, leaving them weaker to Physical Attacks. You have Scorpions who Brawl and Scorpions who are looking to Strike, the way they fight is completely different, so my guess is the videos you've seen have been with more Venomous/Striking Scorpions, than ones that Brawl.

As someone who's been doing martial arts for 7 years, the scorpion's 🦂 movement when he grabbed the centipede (and it started spinning and moving) was pretty insane, nature is beautiful, even if it looks ugly for us humans

@@Muhammad-ou9wh when it grabbed the centiped the centipede started moving and tried to bite it, the scorpion moved just the right way in order to avoid those bites and remain in advantage, it's called spacing your opponent - keeping the just right distance for you to attack but for your opponent not. And I have experience in this stuff so I know what I'm talking about

You need a better floor. Something with better grip. Centipede has all those legs but with no grip it can't overpower its opponent and use them properly. Camel spiders and centipedes really need a good floor to really take advantage and I'd say mantis as well and some spiders.

In this fight scorp had advantage as scorps don't move fast and once those claws grip something it's over if there's no way for the grasped victim to try to escape or bend the claws where the stinger can't make the sting as easy. It's like tarantulas they are more lethal hunters when in a burrow and lay silk on top to locate prey where as in pitbull fights they can't see worth shit lol. So tarantulas are already at a disadvantage in these kind of fights.
