Chris, Love the videos on the CRV’s. My wife and I have test drove a 22 new and are seriously considering a purchase. My questions that I would appreciate getting and answer from someone in the Honda culture, but you won’t lose a sale as we live on the east coast. Being you live in Iowa, you see cold and hot weather. Do the 22’s warm up much better than the earlier models? Being retired and in our late sixties, I want something that will warm up! Melt the ice or snow off when it does occur. The other issue is the oil dilution issue. Has it been corrected? As I said we are retired live 14 miles from town, so the bulk of our travel will be to town next back. Every couple of moths a 100 mile trip to visit our son. Thank you in advance for your response. I appreciate your support Robie. It has been shared that Honda has addressed the oil dilution. Within my four years I haven't had any customers in sale nor service experienced the issue. My wife has a 21 Honda CR-V EX and we also live outside of town, roughly 16 miles. The CRV seem like it does warm up faster then my 2011 Accord.

Anyone who owns or intends buying Honda CRV must watch your videos. Very impressive. May I know if the rear headrests of 2019, 2020 and 2021 are all the same as the 2022 model. For example if I damage the rear headrests of 2022 model can I replace them with those of 2019 CR-V model ? Thanks

I believe they're the same for the fifth generation between 2017 and 2022 because I haven't noticed any difference.

Hey Chris, if anyone knows the answer to this. You would! Is there a way turn off the engine without turning off the radio? I don't like turning off my CRV, then turning the accessory mode on afterwards. So, how can I go from engine on to engine off with accessory mode still on?

I'm guessing that you have the Touring trim that has the Auto wipers. Commonly forgotten feature that you can turn on or off on the wiper stick, just remove it from auto. Thank you for your support and watching

I wish I had discovered you sooner, and am hopeful that you might be able to answer a question concerning the HVAC controls on my 2017 CRV. Engaging AUTO also engages the recirc function; OK at startup but not long term. Canceling recirc disengages AUTO; so no automatic operation with fresh air? I have yet to find a dealer who could answer this; perhaps there's a hidden menu to remedy?Thanks for all that you do.

I'm reading this as you're asking about the auto button for the climate controls. Turning on the auto mode in your air conditioner simply means that the unit's fan is only going to start running when it needs to either cool or heat the room to your desired temperature. To make this happen, the fan will use varying speeds to give you the closest cooling or heating effect that you want to have. ‍

Hi Chris. I just bought a Certified Pre Owned CRV EX with only 2750 Miles on it. With a full tank of gas, the "Range" I can drive shows just 180 miles & 15 mpg. This is definitely wrong. Can this be fixed to what the correct range should be? I took it back to the dealers service dept. They told me it will eventually go away & calibrate correctly to my driving. Also that it cant be fixed & has to correct itself. Very strange. Thanks for any help you can provide.

So on cold winter days steering wheel is freezing cold. How do you heat the steering wheel. I sometimes don't want to touch the wheel as I'm driving because it is so cold. There is a seat button(s) but how do you turn on the steering wheel heat button in a CRV Ex. It is so stupid to have a leather steering wheel unheated. Honda is sucks.

The heated steering wheel is standard on the Touring trim level for 2022 but could be added to lower trim level. The leather wrapped steering wheels are on the EXL and Touring trim. Thank you for watching

There are no changes from 2020 to 2022 CRVs. The 2023 is the new redesign year model for CRVs, Pilots, HRVs, and Accords.
