This was very helpful! We bought a new one last night and are feeling a bit overwhelmed. I drove a 2015 CRV so this is much roomier and has more features. I must say the owner's manual is not very user friendly. The paper is poor quality and the print is very small. Finding your videos has been the best! Thank you. I'm in AL and am envious of your snow from your filming day a few months ago.

Great and informative video. We just bought a 2024 Honda Trailsport Passport. This has really helped with the vehicle functionality. We had a 2019 CRV that was totaled and almost no injuries…just some scratches on left hand. The CRV held such high value that we could afford the passport. I’m sure we will be referring to this video to learn more about our Passport.

Very nice Passport. Love the new brown leather seats. I wish it had a 360 camera system. @7:08 the button - does it also close the hatch then lock all the doors or does it just lock the doors? Thank you for all your hard work that you put into each video. Your channel is growing! Great job CHC 👍

There's a button that closes it as well but not the same one. I hope that I didn't forget to show it lol.

@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 yes you did show it. My sister's Volvo has 2 buttons side by side. One button closes the hatch. The second button closes the hatch then lockes all the doors as well as the gas tank door. I was thinking maybe Honda has the same option. Thank you CHC!

Anyone else out there that is a Passport owner that notices the rear hatch side gaps are not equal? My new 2024 is about .20" wider on one size vs. the other. It's noticable visibly but does not affect water/air sealing.

I would guess it was inspected and tested before being sent out. I would contact your salesperson with any concerns. Sorry that I can't help in this situation

I just got this exact 24 black Passport EX-L with the brown interior and it’s just so gorgeous. I didn’t really want a black exterior but it was the brown interior that made the decision. I also wish it had a 360 camera (especially as I’m still used to driving something this size!). I am having the heated steering wheel added this weekend and then it will have just about everything I want. I smile every time I get in this car!

That brightness switch does that also control on equip models the ambient lighting or is that separate?

As a dealer you should be talking with Honda on Battery placement. If someone needs to jump start the vehicle you shouldn't have to take a car apart just to do that. That is one of the things Honda doesn't do well. They should make it out in the open.

I'm an employee at a dealership, I don't have any influence on how American Honda does there process but I can share much information as possible. When jumping a vehicle, you can attach the (+) just fine but then attach (-) to any unpainted bolt that's grounded. It will just the vehicle.

There's no way to order an EXL trim without leather. American Honda makes this simple by making all the Passport EXLs the same but the colors. Thanks for watching

What wheels are on the EX-L Passport in the video? Are they 18’s or 20’s? I like them FAR better than the “standard” 18” 5 spoke wheels usually seen on the Pilot EX-L. Can I get them on a Pilot?
