I m from Punjab but when I starting love Gujarati dishes then suddenly they add sweets in all dishes. I think this is the beautiful culture of India every state has his own style of cooking. But vada paav me bhi sweets it is out of my thoughts. My relatives moved to Gujarat in early 60’s, they made me eat sugar in Arhar ki daal. It’s been almost 20 years and I eat arhar ki daal with sugar in it.
