I love the slower shop with me. Shows how much you're really looking at and that its not that easy to go in and find things. You go through a lot of items to find the gems! Sometimes people think you can just walk in to a thrift store and find gold in 10 min lol. It's hard work to dig through and a lot of knowledge to pickup stuff that will sell with enough profit margin. We appreciate all your hard work!
@valerieblouch54092 жыл бұрын
I really enjoy seeing what draws your interest. You explain what you like about it, what things are, profit margins and why there is, or isn't, a profit to be made. It's one of the reasons I'm a dedicated subscriber! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos so informative! And thank you for not scanning endless things that don't draw your interest. If you're not interested, I'm not interested!!

Very much appreciate the slow shop. When you only film what you buy, it feels like you end up going to 3 different places just to get enough film and it feels slightly more frenetic. I don’t mind the panoramic shots. I like to see what’s on the shelves.

At eight years old I was making my own cloths on my treadle Singer sewing machine that I got for my birthday. My mum taught me how to, place, cut and sew my cloths from Butterick patterns. I had more bloomers than anyone else in my class. When I got my first pair of store bought nickers I was ecstatic. Sweet Juliette is way old enough to sew. If she wants to give it a go, trust her. Juliette will probably be very good at it with a couple of try’s. Unlike my sister who God made safety pins with her in mind. Love from Oz.

I used to dehydrate thin orange slices and hang them on my Christmas tree with homemade cutout cinnamon and applesauce hearts and stars with homespun fabric for bows and all white lights and wrap the gifts with plain brown paper and use the cinnamon cutouts and dried oranges tied on gifts. That was back in the 80’s

I am the very definition of awkward. I have been binge watching so much of your original episodes while watching new ones as well and fascinated by them, learning a little along the way. Not as much as you of course! You learned so much and have come so far. I would love a meet and greet but sadly am in Florida and can't travel lifelong chronic illness, and financially (broken) I am just amazed at your talents. You juggle so much! You developed a keen eye. And yet keep creative as well. Love the quirky finds so much. Sorry I am not the best with words these days. and boy am I socially awkward ... Just so curious to see the person behind these videos in person. And I never usually am keen on that idea. But a intro to the antique shoppe and even the bins would be awesome. ah well. my mom says make a list of what I would love to do. wish it could be something I could do. I adore birds as well. they are my life really. (ok I ramble now) thank you for sharing your adventures and knowledge!
