oh wow. The blue opaline prices were crazy. I found a blue opaline tumbleup for $12 in an obscure antique mall a few months back. I knew it was old and that it was way, way underpriced. Snatched and ran!

I can't understand why everything has gone up so much, at Goodwill. Everything is donated, and delivered either right to the store, or close by. Everything is being picked through ,by staff , and sent to a facility,that sells online.

The higher they price items the higher the profit estimate is for the store. Management gets bonuses for reaching goals and increasing profit, so they have employees mark items up. However I believe they are getting in trouble for this, my store has "check out or new lower prices" on their information board...lol 😂

I'm not sure but the young girl as a lamp base (on the 6:58 mark) reminds me of a very famous kid show in the sixties in France called "Bonne nuit les petits" (Good night little ones), which included Pimprenelle (the young girl) her brother Nicolas and Nounours, a huge teddybear who told the siblings a story before going to bed. I remember it very well because I was a young child in the sixties :)

That fish might be "decor" to you but to me, it was a jello mold! I've had jello fish like that. Also, to get the set up in the cart you need to actually grab the bottom. But it does take two hands.
