A galoomba is the super Mario world version of a goomba. Instead of jumping on them and poof you have to jump on them, then you can kick them into other enemies

Junior really doesn't know what a galoomba is well for his information they are basically goombas but smarter as in when there's a pit they go backwards instead of falling straight to the death because of going down there cuz usually goombas which is fall down the pit and if you jump on them depending which type of galoomba it is it will just fall on its head well be on its head and you can pick it up and throw it at something it helps you kill enemies if you don't have a koopa troopa shell

The goombas are their own characters different from a goomba because the difference between goombas there are different shape and you can pick them up and flip them upside down when you pick them up and you can't do that with goombas and they're actually helpful like you can hold that them and then place them down on Spike because they're not affected by spikes and jump on them to and then they will get like they will like get squished but you will make it to the area that you're trying to get to that's the difference between the goomba and and a gloomba
