Thank you, _thank you_ for putting this video out there! I played this video this morning on my Smart TV with good sound bar but at a moderate volume. Petey and Peeps, my two budgie friends, really perked up. They not only responded, calling out to the video budgies, but they got playful. Even with the video off, they seem lots happier, finally enjoying their toys and treats. This is going on my special playlist for Petey and Peeps. BTW, I love watching the video budgies, too, especially when they feed out of the lady's hand. I saw the baby budgie peeking out of the nest box - He probably could hardly wait to join the grownups in all the fun!🥰🥰

My budgie passed away several years ago now and I miss him dearly, I just found this video and it brings joy back to my heart and make be want a warm feather floof again... maybe someday I will find another budgie that fits into my heart like he did. He was blue and grey and looks like a miniature falcon so thats what I named him. He lived to be seven years old, I will never forget the nie man in Belzoni Mississippi who sold him to me during the catfish festival. Or the Chief of the fire department who bought him for me after I bought a fixer upper investment home on ebay with my allowance for my 13th birthday (mom co-signed) only to find out a large family had been scammed into a fake rent to own with a fake title on the same home. I had the real deed... I chose to sign it over to them in exchange for the 7k I paid for it. which was less than what they had left to pay, and told then they could pay it from their income taxes as that was how they had been paying the other guy. After katrina I waved the money, and never went back...

@@charlanemcconkey6024 They need to be in pairs, so you should definitely consider another. As long as you put in the work and allow them to get used to you by placing your hand in the cage for a bit each day, feeding them millets (occasionally, these a treats and shouldn't be fed too often) and trying to feed by hand without chasing them around and waiting they will eventually learn you're okay.

@Charles Burnham - You're SOOOO lucky to live there and see all these types of parrots live wild and free. I had an Eclectus parrot. He passed away in 2019. I will have another one day. They're from the Solomon Islands. I imagine seeing them in the wild. What a sight that would be!
