When Crystal said “normally when you don’t have this big a family you don’t need this much chicken” I laughed because they only used 4 pieces of chicken breast and that’s how much I use for 2 people when I cook chicken in a crockpot. I always find it funny when they make food because it’s always as much as I would make for only 2 people and they have over 10 people in their family 🤣

I thought the same , I’ve never made this myself but considering the size of the family I thought four chicken breasts didn’t sound like much to me.

If the meal is bulked up with vege's maybe it's plenty. No way I'd eat 2 whole chicken breasts in a meal. I'd eat half at most. Everyone looks very healthy and full of energy so whatever they're doing is working. Obesity is a huge issue, but not in this family.

Crystal, here's a retried beans recipe that you can make for your family instead of buying it made in a can and its easy to make. Buy the pinto beans in a can drain every other can of liquid and put in a frying pan. I always save some of liquid in case the beans frying needs alittle more liquid pan 4 cans makes 8 or more serving. When they are hot take a potato masher and masher the beans while you are cooking. After they are mashed you can add cheese for creamer refried beans. They are delicious.

Love meal prepping. I live alone and work a 60hr week. I can't bare cooking after work, so on my weekends off (every 3rd week) I try to do a big cookathon and fill the freezer with homemade ready meals. I've currently got 21 meals in there and it feels amazing to know I will eat well every day. It's also a great way to save money as you get more from your ingredients by cooking multiple dishes at the same time. And you save money on electric too. Enchiladas are one of my favourites, also stews, cottage pie, lasagne, Arancini balls, and Spanish omelette 🤤 now I'm hungry 😂 love you guys ❤️

Hey Aaron - if you like cabbage, try making cabbage rolls... You make a seasoned ground beef and rice mixture and then you roll it up in lighting cooked cabbage, pour tomato sauce (I use Campbell's tomato soup - delish)... You can make a big roaster full. Even easier - make cabbage roll casserole - same ingredients - but the cabbage is shredded, and it's all put together in a lasagna pan with cheese on top. You will love it! Dollop of sour cream and you have gone to heaven.

We tried the Emergency Food Supply bucket. It would not work for us. Because when hurricanes come by they knock the electricity off line. Sometimes it can be up to 2 weeks to get it back on line. The food was at best MRE's that the Military's uses.

Aaron, if you like cabbage, try this recipe. First blanch lots of cabbage leaves. Then get a pack of your favourite sausage put a little in the bottom of a greased dish (butter not oil) top with a layer of cabbage. Then repeat the sausage and the cabbage ending in the meat. Place in a low to medium oven 160°c for about 45minutes or until cooked and drain fat off. Add grated cheese and brown. It is good with mashed potato or baked potatoes.

Try making your breakfast pizza like this: 1. Using you english muffins are fine but try bread dough instead, flatten the bread dough out. 2: put white slices of American cheese. Half triangles all over the pizza. Using about 6 slices or until dough is generally covered with the half cheese slices. 3. Provolone cheese right on top of the American cheese, About 4 to 5 large slices. 4: liquid egg in a certain or beat 3 eggs with splash of milk. Pepper to the eggs mix. 5: put about 1 and half cup to 2 cups mozzarella on top of the egg. 6: put bacon or sausage, onions anything breakfast like in top. 7: put in oven at 400. When the eggs is not liquid it is done. Typically it takes 30 mins but keep checking it every 10 mins. Keep a close eye on it. Let it sit for 5 to 8 mins before cutting. Enjoy because this is soooo good!

Chrystal…we had a dinner that my dad grew up on Good Friday. Hope you try this…macaroni noodles, crush tomatoes and seriously sharp cheese. Cut the cheese into chunks. Cook the noodles, then add the crushed tomatoes using one hand to put a hand to break up any tomatoes that feel to big. Then use lots of cheese put in big pot in the beginning medium heat after then switch to low heat. Oh some people add some spaghetti sauce. When it’s not Good Friday some people browned ground beef then throw it in the pot I personally prefer without ground beef. You want to let that sharp cheddar cheese to slowly melt down. Very simple very good all you do now stir it. We didn’t have much money. We would beg him to make it. Mind you there were 5 of us kids an example when my mom would make spaghetti she cooked 3 lbs..

I am 41 years old and have been in a wheelchair my whole life. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and I am classified as a spastic quadrapeligic. You may think my life is hard but God has blessed with me with a loving mom and a great little sister. And now I have 2 little nephew named Grayson Levi and 2 little niece I love being with my family. We are all pretty much die hard Dallas Cowboys fans, now college thats a different story. Its fun to hear us all argue about who is better (Texas Tech). In the end though its all about the family being together and having fun. Football is not all that I like though I love playing games online, if you ask my sister I am addicted. laugh out loud!! Some of my favortie Tv shows include Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother. NCIS, CSI, Wrestling, and Dog The Bounty Hunter. I also love to go bowling with my family and friends. As you can see having these disabilities has never stopped me from being me or doing what I want to do and I am not about to let it stop me now. I am attending Pheonix to get my degree in Criminal Justice because it is something that has always intrested me and I would love to be able to help other people out. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for my Papa. He tought me everything I know about helping others out he was always fair to everybody. He was truely the greatest man I ever knew. Just a heads up, the campbell’s cream of chicken soup has wheat flour in it. As someone who is also gluten free it’s so frustrating where they sneak flour into things that you wouldn’t expect to have wheat in it!

This was awsome and I wrote down some recipes too. I can't have any of those meals but my husband and son can. Just love the awsome family time you had with your kids.

I’ve just gotta say, you guys are a wonderful family. I love to watch you guys in action you always make me laugh. When Lucas got adopted last year with him and Savannah got adopted I cried when Lucas cried. Because I know what he’s going through. See my mom always love me but my real dad never cared my dad I have now wants to legally adopt me. But in Tennessee if you’re over the age of 21 you can’t do that. And I’m 42 years old. Lol! I just got to see your wonderful family and I love watching you guys in action. I just love you guys so much. Your beautiful family. And you guys always warm my heart. I just gotta say if I could have a bunch of kids I have about 30. Because kids are so incredibly special and so easy to love. I can’t have kids either and I want to adopt but being blind, they don’t really let you do that Raisley.I meant they don’t let you do that very easily. Most people can’t when you’re blind autistic and epileptic, that’s a three strike so use against you when you try to adopt. But, I do have my half brother I take care of. He’s adopted. Our family loved him he is now 22 years old but he was 14 when we got him. He’s autistic epileptic, and has a vision problem. He also has cerebral palsy. He has never been anything but my son to me. He’s my boy he calls me mama, and I called him a boy. His name is Luca but we got him Luke. He’s a cutie pie we call him Luke. That’s what he likes to be called. If you call him Luca he will just laugh at you and takeoff. Unless you’re mad at him he doesn’t want to be called Luca. If I’m mad I’ll say Luca, come down here! That’s what he knows he’s in trouble. But I really ever get upset with him when I do I always hug him. He’s a cute kid always on the kidney more we do have power of attorney and guardianship because he can’t take care of them self. He’s a cute kid though I love him to pieces he’s my boy so I just gotta say I love you guys

Love how y'all work together but there were some moments showing off with the food and Crystal, for,a moment, looked a bit annoyed, but kept it together. Some of the kids needed to chill out for a moment. Crystal and Aaron are saints.
