Kudos to Hannah for maintaining such a positive attitude since it was out of your control. Having been a traveler for my last job, when a flight gets canceled, it is the airline's job to rebook you even if it was on another airline. Secondly, they would have transferred your bag to another flight. It is a common problem to be canceled or postponed. All in all, you seemed to have a good time.

On another note, regarding what Aaron is saying about personalities and all, Hannah seems to have a sweetness about her that is unmatched. Happy birthday, Hannah! Hannah asking about her lipstick wasn't a farfetched question. After the London bombing (the guy with the bomb in his shoe) they wouldn't let you take anything like that on the plane. It had to be in checked luggage.

American Airlines has been exceptionally worse to fly with in the past few years. Same exact situation happened to me when flying to San Diego. Couldn't rebook, lost luggage. I used to love that airline, but I'll now pay a bit more and fly Delta. In the end it saves more money for me!
