SimpliSam They say they made the course harder but they replaced the floating steps with the archer steps, Replaced the sky hooks, added the good old salmon ladder, and Giant cubes weren't that difficult.

Grant didn’t make it to Vegas for the second year in a row cuz he gets too cocky. Ik he’s trying to have fun. But he shouldn’t be dancing all the time. Leave the dancing till after completing the second to last obstacle or last obstacle, not after completing the warped wall

I don't think that is the case at all. Mistakes happen and as big as he is he tires out faster or is more prone to some agility and precision mistakes. If he went overly fast I would agree, but I don't think it is a lack of focus or cockiness he just likes to have fun. Nothing wrong with that, and if he sees fit to change that he will I mean Flip has changed his demeanor from the speedster he was and Jake Murray is different as seen in qualifying. Its cool cuz the change means they do better, but they lose the personality and thing that made them big to begin with.

As much as I enjoyed this finals episode, I can't help but feel like the course itself was easier than the usual standard of city finals. 9 finishers are the sort of numbers not seen since the anw 5,6 days.

They are trying to tone down city finals. You can tell they don't view clearing city finals as much of an accomplishment as last year, since they took away the sparks when you hit the buzzer from last year.
