Nicely done gents. I'm a Whitechapel fan & one thing I like is the variety of optional rules that you can apply to either the cops or Jack if your group finds the game unbalanced. I get the argument that it can be a little "dry" if you just look at it from a simple mathematical, process of elimination point of view. But as long as you have players who actually get into the concept and theme of the game it's a lot of fun.

um if you guys had played the 2nd version of fury of dracula, you would know it was next to impossable for dracula to win. games like robinson crusoe and pandemic rising tide are games in which you mostly going to lose or are likly to lose. but can be very interesting and fun, , when winning is a unlikly chance and an uphill battle, that makes the idea of winning is much more exciting. sometimes when you lose you are like, oh we were so close to winning. i want to play one more time. Sadly with letters, most of the time i cant tell if i am winning or not.

It's been an age since I played Zombicide... had the 2nd big box (prison outbreak?) but have never had chance to try BP/GH. I understand BP is pretty well regarded among fans?

i have played letters from whitechapal and its super bad, most of the game is the players flailing about guessing where jack might be but no he isnt there. it is very boring, also i dont see the point in a guessing game. also in fury of dracula, the powers, or special actions can show you where dracula is or just was. who ever plays as dracula has to move fast or they will be caught. that just doesnt happen in whitechapel, special actions in that game just make you move farther across the board. the only way to tell where jack is, is if you are next to a spot he has been or he is right next to you. that makes whitechapel a huge guessing game. going to places and yep jacks not there, oh go to another place oh jacks not there either. very boring.

yes it is great that letters is shorter, seeing as it boring as hell and all your actions feel like they have no point to them. for most of the game you cant tell if you are near jack the ripper or not.

I take it you either have one of the older editions of fury of Dracula or you are just bad at the game as hunters. Because I mostly see slightly more Hunter wins compared to Dracula wins...
