A book series that I would highly recommend that has this same kind of vibe is the Samantha Knox series (it’s ongoing, currently there’s 2 out: Curse of the Specter Queen and Rise of the Snake Goddess). Think Indiana Jones X The Mummy with wonderful ciphers and codes, and (especially exciting) a female protagonist!
