Very Well Thought thru and I am so glad you figured it out. This is what I have always struggled with years ago. I am just getting back into printing and have a K2 inbound. This video will probably help thousands scratching their heads to fix this. Great Camera work as well. New sub!

Thanks for the new sub! I'm happy the video was useful.

those options are on by default in printer / extruder settings :) i had to reduce flowrate to make walls smoother. the calibration sensors do not work well and will measure different values each time, or better said, the software part they are hiding from us. currently setting up sunlu profiles, got pla+ done by now. took me days. in general the macros are poorly implemented, the worst is the filament temp in fila gcode. if you forget to put it in, it will print ABS with default 220°C and will clog 100%. another one is the heater, they will also set back fans to target temp and when they kick in layer adhesion may happen. heater wont turn on below 40°C too. software part is alpha stage, hardware is good.

Agreed. Hardware is good, software and firmware is lacking. Still a good printer though

How is the layer stacking on your K2? The layers aren’t looking good on many K2s and it’s starting to feel like a big miss from Creality…

So far, so good on mine. It's probably the best printer I have as far as quality goes. My guess is, it is something to do with the filament cutting. Seems like that movement can be refined

hmmm, I'm starting to wonder if I should cancel my order. I was hoping that all the advancements in 3d printing would be a big improvement over my modded Ender 3 Pro. I get good prints with minimal maintenance after spending a lot of time setting up the Ender years ago. I was hoping that the out of box experience of a machine with automatic bed levelling, pressure advance, input shaping etc would require no tinkering. It seems a lot of messing about to get rid of the banding and other people have had issues with other artefacts and clogs. Never had a clog with my ender.

Don't cancel. It's a beast of a printer!

I had my old ender 3 with same problems, and it was more then 5 years ago. Cant understand why this company cant make good print profils like Bambu lab. I want to buy k2, but when i saw this problems i order Bambu, it is actually sad because i like how K2 looks and print size.

it is a software problem

try orca slicer

Creality slicer is a fork of orca, correct?

This is probably amplified because it's a single wall right? With multiple walls and any wall setting but outer first it should be internal to the model?
@theincompetentcraftsman11 сағат бұрын
I'm sure it is amplified by being a single wall, but that pattern would still show thru several walls. I'll print a multi wall model and a single wall model to show the difference.

To improve the quility of CRAPality is to buy a Bambu Lab = Problem solved.

Haha! Maybe one day. I enjoy the tinkering...

you have under extrusion all around the part as I see the repeating pattern on the walls
