I just bought this and am sooooo excited because I fell in love with NudeStix because of you! One of my favorite brushes to use for this is the Real Techniques base shadow brush. For cream blushes, Makeup Forever has some beautiful ones, particularly shade 225. It's SUCH a gorgeous peachy coral.

Loved this video. Every single product looks flawless and you're right, cream products (especially blush and highlight) do look more "skinlike" than powder ones! That eye shadow shade is PERFECT and the blush as well and omg i really need to get my hands on the wattsup highlight i think it's the best cream higlight ever!!

I got it off of the NudeStix site, and have used it pretty much every day since! Because of you, I use some kind of cream shadow under all of my powder shadows. And I get compliments and questions all the time about what I'm wearing that is so intense and pigmented. Now I am wearing Twilight and Chocolate under everything and it looks amazing! Thanks!!! Congrats Melissa!! I definitely enjoyed this tutorial. You had a lot of great info in here for us. I'm going to try using my beauty blender instead of my finders to apply cream products. You are so right about how your finger takes off foundation when applying highlight with fingertips. I hate that!! I didn't know that Benefits What's Up Highlighter was anything special until you wore it in this video. It was gorgeous!!! I've never seen anyone use it. Love all that you teach us❤

Also, for cream eyeshadows another good, more affordable option is the Real Techniques Deluxe Crease brush - it's synthetic and densely packed so it really packs the cream eyeshadow on x

I love cream eyeshadows, I find that they last so long because they aren't powder so they don't fade. Plus they're usually pigmented enough that you don't need much to cover up any eye discolouration because they're not visible under the eyeshadow!

Meghan Figueroa Oh no! i actually wore mine for the first time yesterday the whole day walking outside in the heat and they stayed! I have THE oiliest lids too. I added a little concealer to my lids and an eyeshadow primer like I normally do and then I went in with my Nudestix, didn’t set or anything. Maybe try using a primer? Hope it works!

Try the nars primer. You have to blend a little faster but it definitely helps me

My lids are ageing so blending isn't the best option for me because it'll age my lids more. What do you recommend me to do with cream products on my lids?

Rouba Issa If you're afraid of blending out over creasing/crepey lids, I would recommend blending out a powder shadow in your crease. Use one that's a similar color, but a bit deeper than what you want to put on your lid. That way you use the cream product as a finishing step, after the main blending is done (like you would w/a liquid shadow). Just use the stick to apply, then use your finger or a synthetic brush to lightly even it out, if necessary. See which way looks more flattering on your lids. Just remember to do 1 lid at a time, b/c with cream shadow you only have so much play time before it sets. You can always do a 1 color eye that is more graphic, where the edges are NOT blended out. You simply take advantage of the slimmer shape of the stick, & apply it allover in the shape you want (e.g. winged, rounded, etc.). This is a bolder look, but as long as you nail the shape, it is striking (esp. for nightime). Hope this helps!
