Good luck with your RT training and for the upcoming season. My male Red Tailed Hawk has almost finished his moult and I will be reducing his weight in the coming weeks. I can't wait to see him flying free and hunting again. Keep up the good work and please keep us updated with Elsa's progress. All the best from Bonnie Scotland.

Hello Bonnie!!! Elsa is really working on my heart, being the 3rd wild passage I've hunted with so far, she is totally gentle with me! My 5yr old tiercel Harris's is finishing up his moult as well. Gonna try and get some footage of him on some 🦆 this season!

hey Ben! I'm a newly minted apprentice in California, and I really enjoy your videos. I hope things are going well with Elsa, and you'll be posting more videos of your season.

Hello Elsa! Looking good ben!

Thanks!!! She's coming along nicely. Took her 4 days to accept food from me! As soon as she accepted food, she started changing. "Hey, this ain't so bad" she says lol!

Trapping and training is just as fun as hunting itself! To gain a wild animals trust, a raptor of them all, and they allow me to join in on what they do naturally each and every day is something almost spiritual!

I see your a falconer too, so you know exactly how it feels! I subscribed to ya, hope to see some kills this season!

@@ben4x4 Thanks for subscribing to me, Ben. Most of my stuff is simply hunting vids. Pretty much the same every time.

@@bobmyerly7189 Man I love that terrain you hunt! The hunting dog and I have to plow through thick briars here to flush rabbits! I can start hunting rabbits on October so I will be uploading some fitness and training sessions with my tiercel Harris's very soon.

I love these videos! I'm looking around the Las Vegas area for a big female RT to trap. No luck so far but my sponsor is going to help me next weekend and I'll keep at it!

Towards the end of the training, I swear you shouted "Nina" instead of "Elsa". The hawk must have been like, "Who's Elsa". That was right before she stopped responded to the lure. At least you got her back to the routine after you showed that piece of meat. Great ending too, the close-up of her talons really shows what she's capable of.
