I recently went foraging and one thing I noticed under some of the pine trees is a bunch of the little pine cone pieces, lying in piles under the tree, I grabbed some, because it is easier than cutting each piece off of the pine cone and they’re already dried, too. I have found some really interesting things under those trees. 😊

Yes, this is a compilation video that I put together of past videos. So it does seem to be a lot to take in. I usually use hot glue, craft paint, tacky glue, silicone, E6000, decoupage glue, wood stain, sealant/varnish. There are other glues etc, but those are used the most. I hope this helps. Loved all your projects. If you’re looking for transparent colours for inside glass jars I use food colouring & white PVA (school) glue & it’s always worked for me. It’s not waterproof so if at the end of the season if you wish to use it for something else hot soapy water will take it off.

@@creartivebynature if you use colour paste & mix it really well. I’d also pour it into the glass jar & let the excess glue drip from the upturned jar. I’ve found that you only get streaks if you put not enough on with a paint brush.

Have an idea for you and the clip board. To keep it from moving around on, you put some glue dots on the back. They will hold it in place and come off easily. Rubbing alcohol or goo gone take off the glue from stickers. Love what you do! Thanks

You can make that paint more translucent by adding gloss medium. It will start out looking white and opaque but when it dries it will do what you’re looking for.

A few others I follow have added actual ground cinnamon to their paint & based on their experience, they were very happy with both the look & the scent it gave re: creating a gingerbread look. One in particular shared that the cinnamon scent remained even after a gentle coat of spray sealer.

They may have already said this- but just in case, your crop-a-dile should punch right through those tins like butter. Also, if you add alittle mod podge or mop and glow into your paint, it will thin it out and make it more transparent for your jelly jar. These were so inspiring and great ideas. I’ve got them saved in my favorites.

No, I couldn't get the crop a dile to fit over the edge. Trust me, I tried 😉 I'm wondering if I need a smaller one. Mine's pretty bulky. I tried the modge podge, too drippy, but I do have mop and glow. I'm concerned the same thing will happen. I need to experiment. To glaze the inside of your mason jar try adding just a drop of the color you want to use to mod modge then spreading/rolling it around your jar and let drip out.

I just watched your video 10/9 5am. I enjoyed everything you made. I glass bottle you thought to be a wine bottle probably was. Years ago Log Cabin Syrup had a bottle something like it. I can't rememver exactly what it looked like but i think much taller & not was wide. U also mentioned being in Amish country, it is about 40-45 miles north of us. I think we have some of the most beautiful land in the USA. Of course each state has its own beauty. But as for me & mine we will stay in Ohio & love her til the end. I'm 78 & my husband is 80 & love it here. We have visted many of the other states & ohed & awed many things but always ready to come home. Just wanted to let you know, i agree with you. Love those tiny bells, might have to take a little road trip & get me some.❤😊

Fancy glass companies introduced different glass styles in the 70's, it started to take off in the 90's. Vetrerie Bruni glass company introduced that style to a Vermont maple syrup company and LL Bean. Although well loved the parent company of Log Cabin syrup threatened both companies with trademark violations, so it was removed from both companies. I have a few of those ftom LL Bean.

There is a paint on sealer with glitter in it. Or you can put a little bit of sealer in a cup and mix the glitter in. It makes it so much easier and faster and not so messy. Just a suggestion. All your crafts are so nice.😊

Can you try to explain to me how to use the mini flower press? I have a dear friend that loves to garden and id like to make her one but I'm confused a little on how it works. What are all of the papers for? Do the flowers dry to the papers? Are the cardboard pieces like the press pads? Should I glue the cardboard pieces in place? When you made the tart pan ornament with the gingerbread house scene you said you wish you had a tool to add a hole to hang it. You had shown your Crop-a-dile in the previous project. Is there a reason that you couldn’t use it? I’ve seen other crafter’s use theirs on soup cans which are much thicker. Btw this is my first time to your channel and I really enjoyed this video. I believe the bottle was a syrup bottle, it is a log cabin , it is a vintage bottle it was called log cabin syrup, i saw one on google that was from 1776 for $114 .00, that was a great buy

Regarding putting things like the small green and red things on icing, couldn’t you position them on your work surface and carefully set the star on top of them and gently press ?
