Love the bird houses, you could also take popsicle sticks and cut them down and get that same shingled affect or the old wooden stair sticks. I have some of them and they look quite well cutting them down, using them as jingles.

I would please want you to show a few ideas on wooden place mats. The small kind on which you would place a glass to prevent stains on the table. i have so many good ones, but do not use, Stick a picture on them, Mmmm boring, something really different, that only you can think of.
