@@convolution223 so the thing is called escrow contract. you hand your NFT over to a escrow contract (like opensea or where evere) and they do the auction stuff for you - your NFT custom contract does not need to have special functions - just the ERC-721 specifications. 9Months later I learnt this - no I am still not rich :P but checkout Lucky-Hamster-Syndicate.com for a cool NFT collection ^^

No, it's only for metadata, it's not as critical as ownership, which is still recorded on the Blockchain. Alternatively, you can use IPFS to host metadata.

shot ourselves in the foot to begin with, since no one new even knows what non-fungible and fungible means...and it is too similar to fungus lol... so now you answer what an NFT is and you still have a blank stare back.. make it as difficult as possible to explain right?
