You deserve way more subscribers than you have right now. So many channels for affinity focus primarily on touch ups and filters; those have their own value of course, but you're the only person I've found consistently doing more artistic effects like this. Great stuff!

Thank you for this fascinating tut. I was wondering if there was a way to pixelate the model but not the background? Or even vice versa.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked the tut! And yes you could pixelate either one separately. You could make a selection of the model, then apply the pixelate filter and other steps to the selection. Same with the background. You would make a selection of the background and apply the filter and steps to the background.

Love the walk through. Think about using some inflection in your voice, to help keep people engaged.
