Create a Floating Support and Resistance Indicator from Any Channel

There is an error in the code. Thanks to an observant viewer there can be a situation using a small deviation number where support/resistance do not flip. To correct the problem in the CalculateTrend function replace if (close[index]>BufferTrend[prev] && close[prev]BufferTrend[prev] ||close[index]>upper) ) { and replace if (close[index]=BufferTrend[prev]) { with if (BufferResistance[prev]==EMPTY_VALUE && (close[index]

You can use any indicator in a custom EA, by iCustom or embedding the indicator logic. This type of indicator has 2 obvious strategies that we have in plan for later in the year.

Thank you for your work again. Unfortunately I can not attach pictures, but the indicator make mistakes in many cases. It draws horizontal line and not "jump" to the other border line. I tried it many charts and timeframes. Please take a look at the error. Thank you! (for example Admiral Markets, EURUSD, H1, 2020.12.24, 2021.01.13) The Bollinger Bands indicator is OK

I can't recreate your problem. the change you made might make the code look better but it isn't checking the right things, there may be an error somewhere else. The original test is to see if the close price has crossed the previous support/resistance level. Your change is mixing coming from below the previous bar resistance level to closing above what would be the current bar resistance level. Not quite the same.
