I received the option to have your Tutorial added to a new design or my existing design. Which I choose the existing design for the Website I am working on since watching this video. Coolest feature to date!!! With you and Ronny right there in Canva. I did actually learned about you from Skillshare. Then found you on KZbin. Will watch the other teachings to see what can be accomplished with building websites in Canva. I enjoyed your Training on building a website in Canva Ronny. Thanks for your time and efforts in helping us. I also FINALLY learned how to group my Elements! :) And way cool with the hack to make an animated element clickable by adding the shape and making it transparent! Great info, as usual. Thank you. Rather than adding the same link/tile for the text, the plus-sign, the robot, couldn't I just place one transparent tile covering the whole clickable section, and be done? (of course, putting the transparent 'link-holder tile on top of everything) What did I miss?

Canva doesn’t allow you to collect emails so far, but you could have a Canva website with a button that leads to your mailchimp or similar service.

Hey there! Thanks for your kind words and for bringing this up. You're absolutely right-embedding Canva presentations on websites can sometimes run smoothly on desktop but be a bit sluggish on mobile.

How do you integrate this site with payment tools ? And doesn't the domain name need to be registred with a host provider (along with ssl certificate) ? How does that part work if you use canva to create the pages ?

Canva doesn't offer integrated payment gateways so far, but you could work around that by linking to a Paypal (PayMe) or similar gateway. Also, Canva offers to host your website for you, so you don't have to host it on your own. I'm not sure about SSL certificates ... I would think it comes with the Canva package when you host on Canva.

I haven't tried this in quite some time, but when I was playing around with it, I noticed that loading speeds can be pretty slow at times and the canva website links can sometimes be marked as fraudulent or dangerous when clicking them from another platform (like a social media platform comma or even firm another website). Do you know if this is still the case?

Ronny! Diana! Help pls! I am a web invitation creator. I can’t find a third party app as an audio player. For wedding invitations I need to embed a single song and I have tried Elfsight basic paid plan but I can only create 3 widgets. Pls recommend us something that works even if it is paid but that will allow us to create unlimited audio players (for each client project). And if possible pls as Canva to consider adding and audio player app for Canva paid users 🤞🏼🙏🏼

Hey Crystal, I get your point. A lot of people seem to think Canva websites (Landing Pages or whatever you'd like to call them ... I'm just using their vernacular) are not good enough. I argue that it depends who's speaking! If you are a total beginner and need a quick and easy web page, Canva is perfect for that. You can set it up in 15 min, no complicated tech and completely for free. Just for that, I see a lot of value in them. Now, will I build my entire company's website on Canva ... probably not. I get you point 😉

Sorry Ronny but Skillshare only pay creators 20% of revenue which is utterly appalling. In my personal opinion, I will not support a business that is blatantly ripping off those doing the work. £72 for an annual subscription, whilst not a lot of money over a year, isn't representative of good value when most of the course content can be found in youtube videos for free, often by the same creators.

Hi there 👋 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’m not sure where the 20% figure comes from, as Skillshare actually uses a revenue pool that's distributed among all teachers on a monthly basis. The exact algorithm for determining each teacher’s share isn’t public, so it's hard to pin down specific percentages. While I agree that KZbin is an amazing platform with tons of great content, I think there are some key differences between it and platforms like Skillshare. On Skillshare, the courses are typically more comprehensive and structured, which can provide a more focused learning experience. Plus, the projects and community aspects have been really valuable to me personally, helping to reinforce what I’ve learned and connect with others on the same journey. I totally understand where you’re coming from, though, and appreciate your perspective

We have a good relationship with Skillshare and, as an educator, actually really enjoy teaching on that platform. But I respect your opinion, it's hard to please everyone. I hope you'll come back to our videos and appreciate them for what they are.
