Thanks for the video. This had what I was looking for. Someone shared a Jeopardy slides template with me and I couldn't figure out why I couldn't click on boxes or go back to home base. Unfortunately it already had all the questions and answers in it and obviously no links, so I couldn't "work smarter" with the home links.

Is there a way to make the jeopardy value box a different color to differentiate when boxes have already been chosen during the game

Do you have any suggestions for playing online with students. I am thinking like the jeopardy button that they hold in thier hand for actually jeapardy.

That is a good question. There must be a tech tool that can help with that, but I never used this online as a whole group. I have used it as a study guide for individual students to use instead of the traditional study guide. So not sure besides who unmutes first or holds something up on camera first...or since it is Jeopardy, you may want to flip a coin at the beginning to see who goes first and then you can do if you get it right you keep going OR you can take turns (and they can choose their point value per question). Hello, I was able to make a great jeopardy board. Thank you. Do you have a solution that can change the color of the board values that are chosen after a student chooses them. It's hard to know which ones where already played. My students got frustrated with trying to figure out what numbers where left towards the end of the game. Thank you.

There may be a way, but I do not know of it. There is a way to go to Slide--Edit Master Slide--Colors--Link to change the color of all of your links, but there is not an option for followed links like in PowerPoint. So, at this point, I used to have my students keep track of score (one on each side). Sorry. Highlight a number. Go to Transitions. Select Object Animations. Select Add Animation. Select 'Disappear' in the drop down menu (first box) and 'On Click' in the second box.

@@st.columbkillechurchwilmin9771 I have tried that before...wouldn't it only disappear when you click on it...then when you click to go back to the slide (like a Jeopardy game), it would appear again though right? I want to make sure I did not miss anything to make this work in this situation. Also, with add animation, it seems to only work on the whole slide or an object, but getting the numbers to comply seems to not work. If you have found success with this in a Jeopardy game situation, I would love to know. Thanks!

How did you add the icons above your 3 dot tool bar???!! Also, How do you change the color of each of the point values? For some games, it just stays the same color. Or does it reset once you close the game? Thank you for your help!

There is no way right now to change the color of the link once you click it in Google Slides. The icons are extensions and if you click the puzzle piece, you can click the pushpin by the extension and it will show right there. When the screen cuts off the clide you want, you can search for the slide you want in the search bar that pops up instead of making your screen smaller, moving items, etc.

I have not found a way to do it that will stick. If you use an action, the action goes away when you go back to the slide...so as for now, I have not found a way. Also, remember to hit the red SUBSCRIBE button, then the bell on the side of it to be updated about new videos when they posted.
