The Directions API does provide all of that data, so you can check it out here - see the Directions Legs object which has the distance. If you add all of them, it should give you the total distance to cover for the specific route. developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/directions#Legs

Somehow the route does not show after entering my 2 locations. The locations however, do show up
