Thanks for your helpful videos! Could you please tell me how do i use two different codes for the same dataset? I want to display different categories of publications. On top of the page people should use the search function (with code 1) for filter by text. Next to the search bar i would like to display single tag selection (with code 2). Seperatley, each code works! Combined, its only the search bar code who runs. Is it possible to run both codes simultaneously?

So I did this, but the build log is saying there's an error and that it's missing a semicolon, which is weird since I didn't change anything in the code except what you said in the video.

EDIT: Resolved! I had to change the name of "Collectiondatasetname" to my specific collection name. Which I swear I changed to "Collectiondatasetname", but it was a different name lol.

just what Ive been looking for, this is very helpful since in Wix Studio search bar input, its not scaling to proportion, it doesn't have that feature yet, so the only way is to do it custom. thank you

Is there a way to make it show an image from the search too? I thought that's what the eye button was going to be for.

@Hotspot87 yes just add it to the repeater a stock image and connect it to the image in the collection and make it smaller and that's it , but if you have trouble doing it , send me a message here vitzael.com

I am so thankful for this tutorial video because I was able to get one of the two search bars created that I need. I have a second search bar people can search by "number". I have spent hours trying to find solutions or get some assistance with it but have not been successful. This video is amazing! can't thank you enough! I was wondering if there is a way to highlight the searched words in the results section? Perhaps a line of code? For some context, I am trying to add a search for guest names in the according table numbers in my wedding website. It would be so ideal if the search can show only one name with the table number, but I haven't figured out how to fill out the excel sheet in cms to be able to achieve that. So what I have done so far is to add the table numbers (i.e. Table 1) under the "Name" and guests names under the "Short description". Hence when guests types their name, everyone in the table number will show. It would be a great help if you could help me better refine this search experience.

Hello, I liked how I learned this fast by watching your video. My only question is how can I link add a link to a page that I already have? It is only giving me the option to link another database. For example, once I get a result for the recipe that I was looking I want to go to the main page where I can see the whole recipe.

Hi, thank you so much for your tutorial, I'm totally a Wix beginner and doesn't know about coding, but I can follow this and create the search bar sucessfully. But, I have a question, and I couldn't find the answer online - Is it possible to make the search result (very long paragraph) to not showing the whole long paragraph, but showing and highlighting only the middle part of paragraph part? Just like what Google do. Example: - This is the long paragraph text in database: "When I see your face, There's not a thing that I would change, 'Cause you're amazing, Just the way you are, And when you smile, The whole world stops and stares for a while, 'Cause girl, you're amazing, Just the way you are." - I search "Just the way you are" - I would like it to show in the search bar result as: "Cause you're amazing, *Just the way you are* , And when you smile ..." Yes, that would be more like a dropdown and the code would have to be modify but yes is possible and if you are only using a dropdown connected to a dataset you might not even need a code.

this is not very helpful, long 20 min video, to see code solution, i think should be add search bar wix, and add tags to the products or key words. but i dont find to add tags to the product on actual wix studio, only SEO. but i dont know if works to the search bar of wix too
