Hey Daniel, Your videos are much appreciated and enjoyed. However, The Noob in me is struggling to get the Logo to spin. I've followed the steps up to 05:00 in the video and my logo does not spin even though I see the play head running. I also can not see the 3D plane image on the left only my logo on the right. I am on the current Free version of Resolve and not sure if that is the issue. I would appreciate any guidance from anyone that is not as much a Noob as myself. Take care 😉👍

One thing that I didn’t cover in this video because I’ve covered it in previous videos leading up to it, is that each of the nodes at the very bottom has a small extension in the lower left with two dots in each. Those control preview. While you’re in dual preview window mode, you can select which preview window each note will show up in…. so you are deciding what it is you’re looking at. Make sure your media out one node is in the number two preview window so that you can see the final product and you can put whatever you want in the other to work along the way. I chose to put the 3-D layer there

Yes, that’s a process known as extrusion. Master this one until you can do it in your sleep and we’ll definitely move onto to more advanced 3D renders

That’s a process known as ‘extrusion’ and it can get fairly complex so master this, make sure you can do this in your sleep with not only logos but shapes, and we can definitely move on to that next ☮️

Hi Daniel. Please, I hope you can help me. (not related to this "spinning logo tutorial") but I can not find the solution. I have DR Studio. I am trying to !activate the "Automatically resync media files " in my project master bin. But it is not working for me. My Project assets folder is in my D Drive. (My Project settings "working files" are also in my D drive ) I´ve added this folder as a favorite folder in the Media Tab. I´ve updated to the last Resolve Version 19.1.3. Still, not working. There is another thing, In my "project assets folder! I had a few "gif files". I have removed them from this "main folder (in My D drive) but Resolve keeps reloading them in my Master Bin !!! Please, can you tell me what am I doing wrong? Gracias.

Hey so basically i edited a video on davinci resolve about wallpaper video with 10 Anime wallpaper of 4k resolution i set my timeline to 1080p so that i can edit it faster without lagging , after i finished my project i exported it to 4k with 60000-100000 kb/s ,And after render the video was not good quality like my timeline quality was good plz help, i even tried converting timeline to 4k (some images are more than 4k resolution) Help me sir plz

Make sure you change both your project settings and your export settings back to 4K, not just the export settings. You can quickly find your project settings by clicking on the gear icon in the lowest right corner of your edit page

I’ve been having a problem for the past few hours. Whenever I render something, it just doesn’t render while the time remaining goes up. I tried everything. This problem happens with everything I try to render. -Cleared Cache -Checked faulty clips -slowed down render speed -Deleted every project and started from scratch -uninstalled and reinstalled the software And it still doesn’t wanna render. How can I fix this? Edit: I rendered specific clips and it works but when I render the whole thing it fails. I even tried using a different codec.

That’s exactly what I was going to suggest if you were on a Windows operating system, obviously Mac products don’t offer driver updates. Glad you sussed it out
