U r Just amazing Ram, wish u could give the basic short lecture for rank beginner,1 ,2 3 ,4....... so that people could connect. All commands should be sequenced in ur vedeoes for easy remembering

Does not work for me either. Once a video is selected (first or second) and then the shape it will not go to Shape Format (goes to picture format). Can not select the merge shapes. Tried with this video and just a basic shape as well with no success. Using Office 365 and no problem with merging two shapes. Thoughts? Update: After I added Merge Shapes to my QAT I was able to select it and get it to work.

Being an educator in the US in the past I have been using Google Slides all the time. But you have opened my eyes to the incredible versatility of PowerPoint! I am totally hooked now and am learning so much thanks to you sir! One question sir, would a video/animated slide like this one transfer well to something like iMovie?

Shape format option does not appear once i select both.

You need to add that option by customizing the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT). When you customize QAT, select , and then for . Finally you scroll down to find the option and add it to QAT.

When trying to convert the JPG file to SVG it automatically converts to SVG in Microsoft Edge HTML document and gets distorted in the process. Any SVG file is getting downloaded as MEHTML. How to get a pure SVG file?

It's still an SVG file, just the app that opens it by default has changed (MS Edge). There is no problem with format

You can't merge a video with a shape. You have missed out a step.

This video is recorded in Office 365. Do check if the feature is available in your version of PowerPoint.
