The "If consitions" are case-sensitive which means if the letter case (uppercase/lowercase) changes while getting input from Speech Recognition, it will not give an answer. To solve this issue make sure the case of the If condition is lowercase. For example, instead of typing "How are you?" , make sure to convert it to lowercase(how are you).

Make sure Text-To-Speech and Speech Recognition is supported on your smartphone. One thing you can do is try testing the app in another phone/device... It works fine for me.
