I really am loving the new ai search in Musicbed! Really helps me find 'human' songs that sound like the songs we love 👍

This video is like a Dalmatian's spots - unique and slightly chaotic! 🐶🎥 AI might need a few more treats to get it right, but you've got a real knack for herding these digital pups into a film! Can't wait for the sequel where the Dalmatian conquers Italy and learns to cook pasta with AI assistance. 🍝🤖

AI is quickly killing everything. Talent, reality, humanity. It cheapens EVERYTHING. We as creators should be condemning it, not promoting it.

I hope by the end of this video you get from me that these tools can be used, at best, for ideation. It is a test to what is involved and what might be helpful in a proof of concept. 👍 no one will go to ai generated film, but it can help with storyboarding initial ideas 🎉

@@supasportgh quite wrong. It will and has already replaced artists and as the models grow, this will only displace more. Artists will be devalued to the point that it is no longer worth it. Those who are celebrating it now are not looking at the big picture.

It's not there yet, but it will be. Not a matter of IF but WHEN. It will be as simple asking AI for a video about a certain story/product, in the style of a certain director, with a certain style of soundtrack, with a running time of x number of minutes, make the cast have the faces of my friends, etc. and it will be given. I'm not excited about this as many people are. I can't imagine how humanity benefits in a world where everything is readily available. Doing things and putting effort is essential to get joy and satisfaction out of things, THE PROCESS matters for human character and development. Having everything done for you in seconds will only lead to a cold, bland, meaningless life. Maybe that's the purpose, a digital marxist paradise, with UBI.

@@tvchris and Tony, I agree and appreciate your insights! I hope y'all saw my entire final important thoughts on where these tools should stay and be limited to -- I hope my video showed how much creative work is still involved, considering directing is VERY limited -- its just a concept!

It seems the tools are slowly getting there to generate complete Ai content but I’d wager the lawyers are a few years away from sorting out the copyright issues of where the Ai sources the images for generation. Where I’m working at the moment major clients want nothing to do with Ai so it’s still a few years away. Great video though and certainly makes me curious to attempt my own Ai edit.

What I would love to see is how much it would have actually cost to produce this commercial. As in, hiring the dog, flying out to Burano, hiring a camera crew, drone operator, etc. While AI can't do this yet to where it looks totally seamless, you know it's a year out, two, at the most. The cost of fully producing an idea like this would be impossible for most clients, even ones with as large an ad budget as a dog food producer. While it's technically taking work away from people skilled at doing these jobs, the reality is that for most of these art/video professionals, this work was never going to come to them because it's just too expensive. If we're really going to quibble about jobs being taken away, I don't hear anyone fighting for the Steadicam operators or helicopter pilots who have lost unknown jobs to people who can just cheaply buy their own drone or handheld stabilizer. How many professional audio teams have lost work due to the great, inexpensive microphone solutions that used to take a whole crew? Or professional video colorists who have been replaced by DaVinci Resolve or Adobe? We GLADLY bring in any tool that allows us to not have to hire full crews or expensive specialists. AI is just the next iteration of that. The time to stand firm against the encroachment of technology was twenty years ago. It's too late now.

These tools are definitely the future because film making today is economically unfeasible. Everyone is dropping cable and going with the streaming subscriptions. The problem is with the exception of Netflix none of them are profitable. Same thing with the big movie studios. So the budgets have to get smaller. The unions know this as well. That’s a big part of the strikes recently. So yes there will be jobs lost. That happens when any type of automation happens. But I don’t think any group will cease to exist like audio effects people. There will just be less of them, working on more projects, more efficiently.
