Thanks for the step by step tutorial. I find your explanation clear. I could see where you were headed with the animation after the first part was animated. But it was good to watch to the end to see how it came together. It does take a bit of work to get the timings to fit in well, but it depends on how precise you want it. I can visualize options for using other elements including a shape fading to transparency on one end for a different reveal. Or a rectangle frame slowly animating each side. But it does rely on a plain colour background.
