The amount of fabric depends on the person's size. Less fabric is needed for the small size and more is needed as it gets larger. What I do is measure the length twice and add the sleeve length. If the full length is 25 and the sleeve is 18, double the length comes to 50 plus 18. The total is 68, so I would get 2 yards. I hope that helps with the amount to get. You will need less fabric for the smaller size. The choice of fabric is up to you and your budget. The better fabric you buy the more it will cost, so shop around. Thank you for your question.
