Awesome! One question…when I share the calendar, will you also get the reminder for the event, or are you just able to see the calendar?

good question. I do NOT get reminders for shared calendar events. You need to invite the person to a specific meeting.

Hi, I have a question. I have shared a calendar with my friend but now when I update or add items, it does not sync on their end. So they’re not seeing any new additions or edits. Do you know what may be causing this?

I’ve seen this occur with several students. Most likely issue is that your new calendar events aren’t being added to the shared calendar. If you have multiple calendars in outlook, you can have some as shared and some as not shared. When you create a new event, make sure it is being added to the calendar that is shared. I think the setting to choose the calendar is near the top left of the event dialog box when you create or edit the event.

When I click on the 3 dots beside the calendar name, the share option isn't there. I have the newest version of Outlook, so could it be somewhere else?

That vid is for the web-based Outlook. On installed Outlook (which is what I use), you can right-click on the calendar name and you'll see options to share, including setting calendar permissions to only share with certain folks and/or only share certain aspects of the calendar.
