how we can pitch bend a single note like pro guitarist ?
@GappyDanZ2 жыл бұрын
When you put your notes into the spread highlight the not you want to change then add a pitch automation onto it

More interested in doing this in the key editor, not keen on riffer, having problems with the slide ins, manual is not really clear.

This seems like a really sloooow and cumbersome work flow compared to just playing the notes. I am not getting the pay off for the extra work. What am I missing?
@patrickstarshooter52214 жыл бұрын
Obviously, if he was making a track he would play the notes because it's quicker. He's teaching a lesson, you can't really teach a process when you play the notes in immediately. smh. Think a little.

How I can write notes and listen music at same time?
@BadOldBuzzard5 жыл бұрын
Hi Ruben! I have the Ample Sound AGF2 with Funk extension, Ethno Ukulele 3 and the new AGSJ. Just starting to get into Riffer. Would love to know how to copy/paste a group of "notes" in Riffer and also how to move a group of notes with shift->drag. Don't know if any of these are possible. Thanks for the videos. Glad Ample Sound has partnered with someone who will do tutorial videos. All of theirs are years old. You'll do a good job for them and for us out in the community. Looking forward to more tutorials from you!!

Hey there! Ample Sound currently developing that feature. I’m testing it out and it is a time saver! When it’s ready, I’ll announce it here. The problem is that when you’re using copy/paste, drag, etc, within a DAW using standard commands like Command+Z or Command + V, etc, the DAW wants to use those same functions globally. AmpleSound has to figure out how to make those work independently.

FamilyFun3132 does it work in standalone mode?
@FamilyFun31325 жыл бұрын
@@hifimidi Yes. Thanks for getting back to us. You know the old saying "when in doubt, restart"? Well, that's what I did and behold, this wonderful guitar appeared alongside the Ample Bass in my instruments folder. Wow. I apologize. Could have saved a lot of time if I had done this 24 hours ago. Lol. :-) Any ways, Merry Christmas. Thank you again for willing to help.

@@FamilyFun3132 Yuck, I'm gonna have to reboot my Mac for this instrument? It already bugs me that I have to restart Logic to get a new instrument, even though there appears to be a rescan feature built into Logic. I haven't seen that work yet. Rebooting is a little cumbersome to do, and I especially don't want to do it after installing every instrument when I'm trying out several. But thanks for the comment. I have seen it work in standalone mode, and it's very impressive. So I will reboot as soon as I can, and maybe it will then "just work" in Logic as well.

I have the light version of them bass p lite and guitar m 2 lite and im using FL studios and I found what key register the legato slide and slide in/out is but I'm having a hard time understanding how to place them into the midi sequencer that Riffer does automatically. Is there a video anywhere I can watch on the legato and slide key switch done manually
@MaxLummo3 жыл бұрын
can you please tell me which keys are those and how to use them to make slides from one note to another?
@JAYFLOPROBEATS3 жыл бұрын
@@MaxLummo So I still don't know exactly how to position the notes on the piano roll or midi arranger but the slide in/out key is D#0 and the capo man note which is A#0 is the key you push to switch "positions" now mind you I still have yet to find a video thoroughly explaining each key in the yellow portion of each space on the VST but the Ample Bass and Guitar VST a like work the same however I don't know if the slide in and out key has to be align with what you want to slide or has to came just before the midi notes that are to be slid. because there's another midi note that has to be trigger with each yellow represented key style change to be able to turn off/on which ever you choose, so for example if you figure out how to align the midi notes right to get the slide in/out key to start the slide if you dont trigger the right midi not to turn the slide off, ever note after will continue to slide respectively there are other yellow note position set up on the the keyboard of the Ample Bass VST like in the 5th Octave space you triggers like dead note, slap x, pop, x, descending fourth, Legato, etc they have to be used the same way but I'm still trying to figure it out. I will have to go online and look for a manual instead because I haven't found a video explaining how to use it so what I tend to have done was do a lot of manual tweaking with my notes and use automation to pitch bend and then go back and find the actual slide and fret mute notes to add to my melodies when using this plugin then I go drop Guitar Rig 6 on the mixer track to find the type of sound I want to give my guitar melody. I will come up with a video on how I use Ample Bass/Guitars so that it's easier to see than to explain.

Hi Ruben. Is it possible to have 2 midi parts controlling one vst? For example, the chords on one part, and the up/down strums and articulations on another part?
@hifimidi5 жыл бұрын
Ben Hughes I’m not sure. I’ve never heard of that. To my knowledge, any time you have one instance of a VI open, there can only be one midi channel assigned to it. The only caveat is when you have Kontakt open and have multiple instruments loaded within one instance of kontakt. You can then create multiple midi channels to control different VIs (or VSTs) within Kontakt. Ample Sound is just one channel per instance. But why would you need to do that? You can just switch between instrument mode and strummer quickly using keyswitching.
@benhughes23555 жыл бұрын
@@hifimidi I usually lay the chords down first and it would be good to be able to audition midi parts that I've saved beforehand. Having them on the same track can get messy when you're cutting and pasting, etc. Plus the chord only track could be routed to other vsts.

Absolutely ridiculously complex. A newbie hasn't any opportunity to know what's happening. Why not just simplify and show single slides instead of showing off complex melodies?
