This has nothing to do with the video but I wanted to thank you for your tutorials. While I do no professional work I designed a photo book with custom made graphics to propose to my girlfriend. Most of what I can do I learned by watching your videos and experimentation in the Software. So thank you for helping me create a personalized gift that we will forever hold dear.

Such a relief to hear someone talking....rather than dreadful music banging away and the unspoken demonstration proceeding at 80mph so impossible to follow. I`ve been using Gimp for years, but I got a couple of new moves from this video. Thanks

Hi Nick, just like to say I discovered your channel today and well, I think i've binged about 20 of your videos XD I know a lot of people might find it annoying that you're always reminding viewers of even the most basic of key shortcuts like ctrl+z and the like but in my opinion I think its great. You dont know what video will be someones first time getting into this and they may not know the basics. Fair play man, keep it up! (P.S. Dont think I need to say it but yeah, you got a new sub today)

Hi Nick - love this video and effect! - one question please :) If the subject had long hair, what would you do when it comes to floating the head from the neck? include some/all of the hair? - when I include some, it leaves holes in the original image behind, if I include all, it covers the body - any advice greatly appreciated!

Hello Nick Great tutorials Long time follower, first time commentor. Quick query. I finally made the jump from Gimp 2.8 to 2.10.8 and once installed I get error boxes (gmic_gimp_qt.exe - Entry Point Not Found) along with a few others before the app will open. Have you had any experiences with this? I have checked numerous tutorials and forums to find an answer with no avail. I was working on a caricature in Gimp 2.8 and realized the warp tool wasn't in the tool box. So like all those wiley gaming corps I need to upgrade in order to play. So I upgraded to 2.10.8. Then I ran and installed gmic filters but upon opening the new version I noticed (along with the errors) that gmic wasn't an option under the filters tab. I have deleted and reinstalled a few different versions of 2.10.8 but I keep getting the errors. Which I feel is a result of not being able to see/use the gmic filters? Idk. Could really use some advice. Thanks in advance
@LogosByNick5 жыл бұрын
That's odd, I'm not sure. I had the same problem with error messages myself once I upgraded to 2.10, but they went away after I installed G'MIC. I never had a problem with it working either. Sorry I couldn't help further.
