Hi, I used Runway to animate the images, I'm sure you could use other software to get similar results also.

Hi there, congrats for your channel, just subscribed. I am trying to recreate a cartoon image (bitmoji or caricature style) in different poses, dont care particuralrly about the face, do you know any way to do that in Midjourney?

Thanks for watching! I would suggest finding examples of those styles in the Midjourney explore page, and then use them as style reference. Or you could emphasise that style in the prompt. Let us know if that has helped, otherwise i'll try find a solution and get back to you.

Brilliant thank you ❤. I am wondering about : 1. Have you tried creating poses with some reference image, does it work? 2. What did you use to create the small animations, is it Runway’s camera movements?

Hi, good question. You can add pose reference images, but it may require a lot of fine-tuning. I find the best way is to add as much detail about the pose in the prompt...and then use the vary region tool to edit and alter the pose to how you want it. And yes, I did use Runway for the animations, I used the motion brush tool for animating specific parts of the image. Thanks for watching!

Would it be possible to use the predefined character as a SECONDARY object in the image? The main prompt would be about something else happening in the picture, with a consistent character is present somewhere in the background or a far corner...

Great question, it may not work that well getting results that your asking if you do it straight from the prompt...but you could keep using the 'pan' tool in MJ to keep making the image bigger and thus will make the character appear smaller. Or you could create the character in the pose or action that you want...then create the scene as a separate image, then cut and paste the character into that scene using free software like 'Photopea', that way you can control where and how big your character is in the scene.
