This short tutorial provides a basic overview of how to create a talking book using synchronised narration as a 'structured' book with a preface, chapters, sub sections etc.

Hello, Thank you for sharing this video. I am trying to create my first Daisy format audiobook. I don't have any experience with it. I downloaded OBI and I will start working on it as soon as I hear from you. I created the audiobook in Adobe Audition. Then I exported each section separately. Opening credits, preface, chapters, and closing credits. I exported the files as 32 bits instead of 16 bits. Would that be a problem in Daisy format? The second question is: Is it ok to make separate sections for opening and closing credits? Most importantly is there anything I have to do other than connecting the right audio files to the right sections? Do I need to upload the written book? Is it a requirement in Daisy? or just the audio? Please let me know as I need to finish this very soon. Thank you very much.
