Very helpful. It saved me a lot of time to find it out by myself. Thank you.

I've got a cheap moving head off ebay, called a mini LED gobo moving head. I tried your instructions for the 11 channel mode (don't need the 9 chan mode), set up the addressing to match QLCplus and channel mode on the unit to 11 chan, but half the faders either do nothing or are the wrong setting. I understand that its cheap chinese models, but any tips? The DMX address I choose also seems to have an effect on which channels actually work in QLC. For info, I am using usb to dmx cable bought off amazon for next to nothing.

Hello. Can you email me a copy of the fixture manual DMX channel assignments? Just take a picture and send it to: ctltech2@outlook.com Meanwhile...There is a way of discovering what the channels on a fixture are doing. Open a new setup of QC+ without any fixtures assigned. Set your fixture to DMX address 1. Now open QLC+ as a new setup without any fixtures assigned. Now go to the "Simple Desk" tab and click the green triangle (upper right) so you are in RUN mode. Moving the faders will now send out DMX information. You can play around with the channels to try to figure out what is controlling what. Ed Richards

@@edwardrichards7722 Thank You. I'm extremely impressed with your tutorials. You have helped me with a few head scratchers. The website isn't descriptive in a way all people can understand. I'm mostly interested in Aliases, Moving Heads 2D, and RGB matrixes

Hello I am going to make that video about Aliases this afternoon. Do you have a specific fixture that uses that feature? If so, I will make it part of the video. Ed Richards
