Very excellent I just want to tell you I learned at the age of I think it was 50 years old from my father he should have been an English teacher he finally got around to one of my last grammar lessons there are no these ones there are merely these these are beautiful candles not these ones are beautiful candles we can learn grammar at any age! My father passed away but I like to tell anybody that that I hear him say these ones message from my dad from heaven love your candles!

You can also stamp/paint on a wax piece of paper. I have done this with my preschoolers for their parents Christmas gift. It is a fun and great gift!

Fantastic idea for gifting something unique. i found too many questions here in comments after seeing this video and i would like to answer for those questions and confusions. Q.1) What kind of a tissue paper we should use? Ans.) Tissue paper also called Butter paper which has a mild wax finish on one side and other side is crispy. it also known as tracing paper. Q.2) Do we need to remove tissue paper after heating process? Ans.) No. Q3.) Do we need to heat the whole candle or just the design area? Ans.) Yes, the entire candle. Q.4) What kind of a hot air blower we need to use? Ans.) If u have a temperature setting blower then grt else u can use normal hair dryer but make sure u keep at least 5 CM of distance from the candle in entire process. hhhhhhh...now i am tired. ;) , keep on sharing such a wonderful ideas to the world.

You're welcome. I'm glad that worked out. I just watched a vid where they stamped the image onto the tissue paper; probably a better method for those who don't have access to a printer. She also cut carefully around the image instead of adhering the entire piece of tissue paper to the candle; that seems easier & more economical than the technique in this vid if you were making a lot of candles. I would still hollow out the top for a tea light--for safety & to preserve the original candle.

This is so amazing I wanted to make a candle for my baby candlelight service. . So how would I add bling to the candle's . Can I use hot glue when making these candles with the paper ? I was going to pay fourty dollars for one candle .Im so glad you made this video . Please if you have any othere tip's on this would you let me know . Her service is in 11 day's . So I need to get going on what Im going to do . My idea was to add these pink flowers on the candle like wrapped around it .

Hey guys be careful when doing this, after the wax layer melts off the tissue paper, the tissue paper can catch fire and mine DID! These type of candles should not be burned they should be decorative only.

One thing you could do if you're worried about it is to hollow out the very top of the candle in order to place a small tealight in the top and just replace the tealight as needed. Then you would never have to burn the actual decorative candle.

As she said in the beginning, it's better to use candles of neutral color although you could experiment with other colors if you like. Though, I think it would look nicer and less tacky if you use neutral ones.

You can light these candles although would suggest you put it in a candle holder, that fully encloses candle , before doing so as paper can catch fire. Always keep eye on candle when lit. Do not leave it unattended.

Waxed paper like you're talking about probably won't work, as it seems like the point of using tissue paper is so that the wax will come through it (tissue paper is porous). Tissue paper is the stuff they put into gift bags and boxes to line them before putting the gift inside. You can find it near the gift-wrapping paper almost anywhere, like discount stores, groceries, craft stores, and dollar stores. It comes in a wide variety of colors.

This is a heat gun. I would assume a blow dryer would work if it got hot enough. Might take much longer though.

Sonia Bhargav no the candle wax will melt so it comes through the paper and than the tissue paper is "part" of the candle. So you don't need to take it off…

What type of tissue paper are you using? I went to the craft store and the lady told me to use the kind you wrap gifts. I did a candle and it did not do well. I have bubbles and the tissue paper didn't seem to melt evenly. Any suggestions?

The ink itself isn't supposed to actually transfer onto the candle. The point is to adhere the paper to the candle. Make sure you're using tissue paper and not something else so that the wax comes through the paper. Are you using a heat gun? If not, then you might not be getting the candle hot enough to start melting the wax in order for the paper to stick--standard hair dryers don't usually get hot enough.

you first have to attache it to card stock just so the tissue will have a good backing to allow you to run it through your printer

NO the tissues pretty much melts on too the candle so when you light it up you don't have to worry about the paper because it becomes part of the candle in other words
